Referral Agreement
This referral agreement
between American Legal Referrals, known hereafter as
ALR and the Law Firm_______________________________ known
hereafter as "Law Firm",
represents the only agreement between the
parties with respect to the forwarding of legal referrals
through
ALR to the Law Firm.
Administrative
Fees: The Law Firm agrees to pay administrative fees to
ALR in the amount of $25.00 for each
telephone verified legal referral sent to the Law Firm by
ALR for
the practice area of Bankruptcy
Law.
Each legal referral
sent by
ALR will be for the geographic area or area
codes as follows:__________________________________________________________________

Number of referrals
the Law Firm would like to receive each day,
week or month from ALR?___________________________________________________________________
Communication
by Referral Applicants: All referral
applicants that transmitted their referral
information to
ALR,
our lead generators or our lead sellers made a
conscious decision to seek out an attorney for the
practice area of law as indicated. Such referrals
may have been received by lead generators, lead
sellers or came through one of the
ALR websites. All referral information is verified
by telephone by ALR before transmission via email to
counsel. Nothing was promised, paid or given to any referral applicant by
ALR, our lead
generators or our lead sellers in order to receive
the communicated information contained in any such
referral. All referrals received by
ALR are
communicated to us via the applicants own free will
and conscious decision to seek legal
help.
Transmission
of Referrals and Returns:
ALR transmits
bankruptcy referrals via email only and verifies all
leads and information prior to sending to an
attorney.
ALR accepts returns for invalid referrals based
on the following criteria but this should be very
limited as all information is verified before
transmission via email: Phone
Number Incorrect, Out of Service or Disconnected - False or Misleading Information -
Duplicate Referral - Referral
Given To Another Bankruptcy Attorney by
ALR In Error. All other reasons for returns must be
approved by
ALR before any credit is given on the Law Firm account. Each referral is only transmitted to one
law firm. We do not duplicate sending the same
referrals to other law firms. As we do receive
referrals from 3rd party sources, there may be a
rare occasion in which a referral is received
through one of ALR's websites and the same referral was
received from one of our lead generators. In error,
both referrals may have been sent out to law firms
to contact. We do exercise a high level of quality
control over the referrals that we send out and if
by chance this occurs, your firm will receive full
credit for the error. All referrals are usually
transmitted to law firms the same day they are
received. Referrals that are received after hours,
(after 5:00 eastern standard time) are transmitted
to the law firms in the morning of the following
day.
Bar
Association & Better Business Bureau: You
declare by executing this referral agreement with ALR that to the best
of your knowledge you and your Law Firm are in good
standing with your state bar association and the
better business bureau and that you agree to all
parameters as stated in this referral agreement.
Payments:
ALR will invoice the Law Firm for all administrative
fees accrued at the end of each month for
all referrals forwarded during said month. All
administrative fees are to be paid to American Legal
Referrals no later
than the 10th of
the following month. Should
ALR not receive
the fees due by the due date,
ALR will cease to send legal referrals to the Law Firm until paid in full. If not paid within
30 to 60 days,
ALR will place the Law Firm account with a collection
provider for immediate collection. The Law Firm may
also be subject to a derogatory credit listing on
their commercial credit rating. It is fully
understood that this agreement may be cancelled at
anytime by either party for any reason whether for a
specific breach of any section of this agreement or
for no reason at all.
